SG JAZZ are preparing for the release of a new album, SGJAZZ Vol. 2, to be release on 26 November. The fourth single 'Moonlite' has just landed, following on from the slow, tremolo-tinted keys track, 'Fork In The Rhodes'. Moonlite channels sunny sounds of bossa nova through the loose noodling of the singing. Embellished with mindful percussion, the drumming remains calm and collected throughout the song, allowing the breathy saxophone to sway in the breeze and the bass and keys to run free. The sweet vocal melody comes back again intermittently and is always a nice surprise when it returns. 'Moonlite' holds down dreamy jazz melodies without neglecting the groove.
